He was born in 1923 and his mother's name was Annie May Dowsett Brister. He was put into an orphanage from whence he was adopted four years later. He does not wish to meet any decendants, or cause family upset, but as he is in his eighties, would like to "just know" a little more about his family. He was told that his mother worked at Ealing Studios in the 1920s, but this may be just a story. If anyone has any information, they would make an elderly gentleman (who is not very well), a happy old soul. I would appreciate the slightest help, as I don't know where to start on this one.
