She lived in Stepney but died in Ilford circa 1959. Her daughter was Alice Dowsett who married a Wild - he was in the Metropolitan Police. My mother Joan Wild was born in Stepney [Salmon Lane] . She married a Jack Littlewood and died in Ilford in 1977. My maiden name was Littlewood and I married a Chaffey. This is probably of no use but the connection to the East End of London got me fired up. My Great Grandmother had Jewish connections - I think she was a money lender.
