Have just discovered your 2010 query. I am a direct descendant of the 1811 Samuel Bailey Dowsett and am in the process of family history [Dowsett] research. His son (from 2nd marriage)was also a Samuel Bailey - my grandfather, who died in 1948 (Sydney, Aust). SBD(3), as I call him, married Effie Channon in 1902 - she died bearing my Mother, Effie Dorothy Dowsett, in 1903. SBD(3) remarried in 1915. Can we share info? Barrie, Kiama, NSW Aust.
