Hello this is my first posting to this list and i thought i would send my interest's I am looking for George DOWSETT born 1879/80 in Colchester Essex England George move to Yorkshire Married Elizabeth LAVERICK then to County Durham he then move back to Colchester then on to Leicester. George and Elizabeth had 4 children George Charles b 1902 Yorkshire Daisy b? Gladys b? Jonathan Ernest born 1913 Durham. every hopeful of a reply Alison (Leicester)

Dowsett. There were 13 children. Annie was First Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Kapiolani and accompanied her and the furture Queen Liliuokalani to England for Queen Victoria's Golden Jublee. They visited maternity hospitals there and later founded Kapiolani Maternity Hospital which was the first one in the US ( wasn't US at the time ofcourse)

I am trying to get information re my father Sydney Tracy Dowsett b.14/12/1918 in the Birmingham area. his father was also Sydney Tracy Dowsett, mothers name unknown.My father had sisters May, Joan, Lily (Fletcher) and Sheila.In 1951, all the sisters resided in the Birmingham area, and Sydney and family migrated to Australia with his family in May 1951. Sydney married Glenys Olwen Banks on25/12/2937 in Dudley, Worcs, and at the time of leaving England had two Daughters,Jacqueline b.8/3/39 and Janette b.20/6/47. can you help at all,or point me in the right direction to trace the family?
