    2. Sherry, one glaring mistake in Greagath's work is the birthdate for Francis and Susannah's son, Richard. We put him being born iabout 1755/56. One work says he was Assistant to a surgeon if the Rev. War. That was 1776. He couldn't be that and be born in 1777. Another piece of research would suggest he might be the firstborn of Francis and Susannaah. It could be, since he is not listed in the 1776 census of Harford Col, MD. Also, one researcher suggests William might be a younger brother of Francis, or a nephew, and Rebecca would be his wife. (Rebecca Cromwell). Francis and Susannah had to marry very young, in any case. He must have been about 17, and she probably wasn't that old. I have hunted high and low for more information on Powhatan, or Puck. He is a hard one to find. There are three Powhatan's in his line: him, his son Powhatan, born 1822 in KY, (brother to my direct descendent, Morean, born 1816, KY), and his grandson, Powhatan born about 1850, found on a census of Tulare Co., CA, with his family in 1900. I can't find much on Morean either. We were spelling his name Marine for awhile; but a lady from Colorado helped us there: it is spelled Morean and he married Lydia Ann Brunk; we have most of his children now; Morean and Lydia were married in 1843 in Davies County, MO, and were still there is 1850, with three of their children. But after that, I haven't found him again. Suehodnett@aol.com
