He is the son of Simon William Norris, born 1776 Ashe County, NC. David married Rachel.........had twelve children: Mary, Robert Abner, John, David Michael, Lucinda, James Avery, Adaline, Sarah, Malinda, Thomas, Thursey, and Elizabeth.
