Perhaps I should look at the Virginia Downings for a Francis. This is the line of Lila Beal of Georgetown, KY in 1938. Makes me wonder if her work was preserved somewhere...a KY library, publication, genealogical society...or if she was a DAR. Fannie Aldridge Bell was DAR #92665 on this line...perhaps in the DAR Patriot Index. Clues and work for somebody! Sherry
