I am looking for information on Simeon Downing, born 1822 in Madison Co., OH. He left home in 1836. He eventually travelled to St. Louis, Mo. and settled in Shelbina, Mo. Is it possible that his father was Simeon Downing, also of Madison Co, who died in 1836? Carol Lasley clasley@flaphil.com
