Sherry, I haven't seen a copy of Greer's Early Virginia Immigrnats, I don't believe; nothing I have seen so far lists the parents for Francis Downing, born 1736 of Yorkshire. I'm gathering a lot on him, and his family, but not his parents. I have posted a query on Yorksgen; maybe something will turn up. Sue
