I'm over 200 miles from Jewell Co.,KS 1880 there were 8 families of DOWNING in Morris Co.,KS. I will make a list of them and sent to [DOWNING]-L. One from TN and and 37 that were from OH, KY, PA, IA, IL, MO and KS. I will also sent to list the 21 that are buried in the DOWNING. My Emilia DOWNING married an Samuel CLYMER and their daughter married Ezekiel EDWARDS. I think that some of them moved to north west KS. Maybe this would be your line?
