And he never said James Downing and Nancy Gardener were married because he still is unable to find any evidence of that. So she expanded upon the submitter's stuff in that case. Actually, she waltzed through town and got everyone to give her information, visiting fellow genealogist and all that. But that's why the information on John Downing is pretty accurate. Mt. Pulaski is the home place of that line [and where they connected to the Timothy Downing line through Samuel].
