I've noted several people have Oklahoma Downings so I was hoping for a connection. This one was my greatgreat grandfather's little brother. GGgrandfather died in the Civil War and his brother went off to Oklahoma [probably in that order]. He's buried at 'home' but the wife was buried in Oklahoma -- she died much later of course and I think she remarried. I don't know much about him so, naturally, I'm curious. Thanks for checking Ray.
