I am looking for any info (particularly the father's name) about the Downing family as described below: 1861 UK Census, Suffolk County, Eye, Castle Hill Union Workhouse (all individuals below listed as paupers): Elizabeth Downing, mother (b. abt. 1828 in Mellis, Suffolk County, UK) - maiden name possibly Burt Eliza A. Downing, daughter (later went by "Annie"), (b. 1861, Eye, Suffolk County) Harry Downing (son), (b. abt. 1856, Mellis, Suffolk County) By 1871, Elizabeth was married to Robert Chambers, and was living in London with him, and Harry and Annie were still with her. Her other two sons, Robert (b. abt. 1855) and Thomas (b. abt. 1852), had rejoined her at that time. Thanks for any help. -Bob
