Where can I find the Downing of America. I am looking for Nancy Downing born abt 1850 married John Henry Hite/Hiatt and had a son Charles, Albert and John P. Hite/Hiatt. Is she in book The Downing of Europe and America. Thank you or tell me where I can find this book. Hi - I looked in my copy of THE DOWNINGS OF EUROPE AND AMERICA and the Hiatt/Hite family you mention is not listed there, but of course, only a fraction of the Downings are in it. I have only the 1st volume, and there may very well be a 2nd volume. You may get a copy on interlibrary loan. The author is Anne Gregath and it was published in 1976. Marlene
