Charlotte, Help me out. Did you locate an age for this Nancy J. Downing. My Nancy was born 1853 according to the census records. Dawes was taken in Oklahoma between 1909 - 1913. Her father James was b. 1806-1813. I believe he would have been too old to be in Dawes. I sure wish I could pin point if my Nancy's middle initial was a J. I have not a clue yet. thanks, Gregg
