I've "rescued" an old family photograph identified as Clarance DOWNING which was taken at the Nelson Studio in Plymouth, New Hampshire. The photograph was likely taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Clarance appearing to be about 5 years old at the time it was taken. In addition to his name it is noted that he is "Uncle Will boy". With just limited research I did find Clarence DOWNING b. 23 May 1897 to William & Elizabeth DOWNING in Thornton, NH. Clarence died in December 1979 in Campton, NH. I'm hoping to locate someone from this DOWNING Family so that this wonderful old family treasure can be returned to its rightful place with family.
