First of all, someone with the time available needs to volunteer to be the Downing Family DNA Project Group Administrator. That person would set it up through the website I previously sent. Getting the testing done is completely voluntary and to be paid for by each person who chooses to be tested. My understanding is that they keep the results in a confidential file and then notify people when DNA matches are found. If anyone else has anything further to offer on this subject, please feel free to share it with the list. It is all fairly self-explanatory on the DNA website.
