R. Downing and M. Emma Campbell who at one time resided in Oelwein, Fayette County Iowa. Emma was the daughter of John and Mary McCray Campbell. Her parents died when she was a child for she and her brother J. Henry Campbell went to live with their Aunt, Elizabeth and hus. William Bentley of Oelwein. JR and Emma had at least 5 children, Ray, Harold and 4 unknown girls Emma died in 1961 and is buried in Hazleton Iowa.
