I'm not sure if my gggrandfather came from Kerry Co. His name was Morris Downing. He came from Ireland to Stamford, Connecticut. According to the information I have, his wife's name may have been Ellen Hayes. He had two children, a daughter Kate and a son Maurice, my ggrandfather.
