He was born on April 22 1876 in Rockville Centre and died on Oct 2, 1943 in Bethlehem, PA. Owned Carpenter and Restaurant business. "Own business" was very common for our Downing family of Long Island where Isaac learned the family tradition. Death record stated Oscar's parent were Isaac and Jane Warmth but unknown date of birth. It can't be one of George and Mary Coles Jackson's because Oscar's birth date was too f However...I suspected it might be Isaac Richard Downing (1848-unknown) of Glen Cove, LI because his 1900's to 1920's census record stated that he ran Carpenter business like Oscar's.
