Bartholomew Downey and Bridget Burns from Kenmare Co Kerry Ireland. John was born abt 1811 Robert abt 1812.. Robert became quite wealthy in the Tumut area NSW marrying Margaret Quilty John was a shepherd/labourer all his life in the Murrumbidgee area marrying Bridget Reynolds.There is a fair bit of research been done on Robert but as my John used the name Downey on marriage and children's births etc he was not researched as the brother of Robert and co-accused.
