    3. Just a little input re the DNA project. I see that many family groups are doing this and it has been going on for some time. My cousin's husband participated in the HULL DNA project, and he found that he descends from a progenitor in England in the 1500s. Of course, it leaves those of us out who were not born Downing and are not male, but I think it will help a lot of searchers to get back as far as possible. Even though I can't participate, I would be very interested in the results! Marlene
