Knowing their accents, it would be easy for the untrained ear to think they were saying Dunning when thet were really saying Downing. It good to keep this in mind when researching. Downing June 5, 1895. According to a certificate inside the book, they were married at the home of Mr. George G. Meneley in Ohio.  I was wondering if this book could belong to your family or if you know of any other Downing family it could belong to?Thanks, Marie Luedke
