Shirley B. Its that way everywhere now, I can't see how it happened all over the country? Bakersfield,Ca is a large city, built houses and shopping centers on every piece of land they could find. Now people are having to leave their homes, and leaving everything in them, they can't put in a car, lots of homeless people also. and people eating at the rescue missions kitchens.
