Mildred, the area I live in had only 2 department stores. Wal-mart and Magic Mart. Magic Mart was a very nice little store, kept their prices low,kept up layaways when walmart stopped doing them. Business was good for them and I would rather shop there than at walmart. BUT Walmart soon run them out of business. Now walmart has a monoply on the town if you need something that is the only place to get it!!!! put a lot of local people out of jobs. Nothing left here but the big Celco plant and it is down sizing every day. when it closes and it will we will be a ghost town, no jobs to be had.
