Marilyn A couple of years ago I planted tomatoes and cucumbers in planters as well as the garden. They did very well. Plus I had them in the garden too. I think I will buy some topsoil in bags and plant potatoes in the bags. I have dome this before long ago. I just let some taters sprout and then cut the area about 2 inches with the sprout on it..and walla new potatoes..I usually plant 3 celery stalks...and at the end of the season cut them up and freeze them. I am going to also plant peas as soon as the frost is over.... Shirley H My wisteria is getting real big but so far no flowers. O.K. Shirley B, How do you plant celery?? You said 3 stalk, are these stalks like you buy at the grocery store??
