Otherwise I think I am going to call an exterminator..............these are terrible.......................I noticed , this morning, in my topsy turvy, 2 birds are trying to build a nest in the top of one of them..................gosh, don't these critters, and insects ever give up ? lol.............going to have to put some screen on the tops of them to keep the birds out..............my tomatos are doing great in them............love ,sam. Don't know if they work, but they both make sense..................seems the sprays and granules we are now using, isn't working that well, as the harsh chemicals that were once available, they became immune to. Now, with less fighting defense think we are just stunning them. Black ants are horrible this year. We had a line of them this morning, from a tree , across our back deck, up the side of the house to our Hummingbird feeder that is on a shepard's pole in my flower garden.........Jim turned the water on, to activate the granules he put out yesterday. They disappeared, but not sure if it killed them..........................can only hope. Snakes, more this year than several seasons put together........YUK ! sam Joyce also I have heard to cover the tick with vaseline thus the tick can't breathe and will back out on it's own. I want the thing off me as fast as possiable and don't take the time to do this. LOL just grab the thing and pull it out!!!!!! know I shouldn't but I do. I'm With Sam going out today and get something to spray the area with. I have black ants, ticks, spiders so need something powerful. Ticks seem to be real bad this year also snakes. All the wet Weather washing them out of their holes I guess!!!!!!
