Hey, I feel the same way Dot Jo! This morning while Nakai was at the VA I had him drop me off at the mall as I needed to go to the library.. Well he dropped me off at 8:30 and the library didn't open till 10:30 so I treated myself to McDonalds egg mcmuffin and drink.. then went strolling around checking out the shops.. Which I can't do when he is sitting out in the car waiting for me.. Then we went to Wallies to pick up my meds and I zoomed thru there getting what I needed as again he sat out in the car reading his paper and eating his McDonalds.. actually I HATE McDonalds except for their breakfast that is.. When Keala and I have another girls day out I want to go Applebee's and try their sandwiches..In fact I think every girls day I will make a list of the restaurants we like and put them in a bag ..shake it up and the one we pick will be out treat for that day! WEll maybe not EVERY time we go out but at least a few times a month.. LOL When we got home I had my nose stuck in the TV watching Glen Beck show and I heard some noise but didn't bother with what it was..(one of hearing aids battery was dead so I had the tv blasting and didn't realize it LOL) Anyway, it was my friend Ella and she scared the poop out of me when she walked in the living room and started talking to me.. (she has a Texas way of talking LOL cause that is where she was born and raised) She told me that Nakai and Dave told her to go on in as I was in the apartment.(they were putting new brake shoes on Daves van) Anyway, Ella is upset that we might be moving to Washougal in Sept and came over with a bunch of printed out pages of apartments for me to look at..that are closer to Orchards where we live now.. She and her hubby are coming over tomorrow so he can fix the color setting on my monitor (he is the one that changed my computer from Vista to XP and also fixed the laptop as well..He can talk you to death but I am so thankful for him helping me .. He is an athest (his words not mine) and Ella is LDS. Ella told us upfront to NEVER talk religion around Aubry.. Well I never talk about my church unless someone asks me about it .. Well best go get those brownies I have in the oven out .. that is Nakai 's goodies for tonight.. Shirley H In a message dated 6/24/2009 8:06:17 P.M. Mine is the same way Shirley H., he sits in the car listening to Rush while I do the shopping. In the heat you feel like you have to hurry or you will come back to a heat stroke. We got back today and had two monkeys on the top of our house. Grandson and a friend were putting some shingles on the roof that had blown off, I came up on the porch to two men talking and couldn't find them until one of the looked over the roof. once in awhile one of the girls will come in and we will have a girls day out and believe you me I make the most out of it. Daughter in law took me out last week for a hair cut came back home to a house full of company. But at least I had a relaxing morning!!!!
