Dot Jo, I am so sorry about your dog. I know you were all very attached after 13 years. They are just like family when something happens to them................. I am a wreck. Just had a tornado touch down 3 miles from us, just got out of the shelter. It is after midnight here, and chance of reocurring storms tonight.................hail over 2 inches in diameter, and pounding , flooding rains. I am so glad all the family in town is safe............There was a barn flying over my daughters house, and that really shook her up. They have a safe room in their house...............other daughter got the lightest of this storm..................all in all, everything is ok. More on the agenda for tomorrow. These things scare me to death, don't think nerves are willing to take much more of this............lol..............mother nature is sure hammering all of us this year. Wish she would slow down some.................I heard about your storms yesterday Dot Jo, they didn't sound any too calm either............................Sam. , I cleaned house from top to botten today also and washed clothes and hung them out trying to beat the rains. Make it!!!! It has been cloudy here all day but no rain guess we got it all last night 2 inches in 15 minutes. But rain for the next 5 days.Can't believe it but garden is looking real good. We lost our dog yesterday. She was 13 years old had been hit by cars 3 times once we thought she was dead but was able to pull her thought this was last Summer. We didn't take her to vet because she was so bad off and so old we felt it was best to just let her go. She has had a good long life for the shape she was in now. Do you need a kitten? Have three and Larry didn't want any. He does not like cats. Granddaughter brought him one she found in the church parking lot (Dufus). another granddaughter got one for her birthday and its took up here(Socks) and someone dropped one here ( Ebony solid black) So we are cat poor in addition to money poor.Plus I'm dog sitting for our son, plus SIL dog makes hisself at home here and we have a dog!!!!!Thank goodness they all like tablescraps. Hard enough buying food for the humans here. Sam, I bet you all are a wreck!!!!!!!!!!! I know I would be, glad all is safe. This is the worse year for storms I've seen in a long while they just seem to pop up out of nowhere.
