You know when we got over here and I saw my FIRST Indian ( one from the middle east part of the world with the turban) I was so nosy to see what they wore etc..Nakai told me don't stare. But I did anyway. Because for the simple fact that the mainland has gotten a lot of nationalitities over here that weren't here when I was growing up.. nor do I recall seeing them when we were here just a short time back in the early 90's. My time.. there were white, blacks, Mexicans .. that was it..not that I begrudge them being here(as long as they are here legally) just strange to see them living in the USA. Shirley down here in Ca. they make up a great deal of the population, they owing trucking companies, fast trip, stores, small variety stores, and our government backed most of them when they first came here, to get these things. you and I or any of us, ever had advantage of this type thing, we just try to live on what we made working, or else struggle some more. they have been in Bakersfield, for a few years now, all busy with businesses. we were the underpriviledged in our country.
