How many are nurses on this list? I know June is retired nurse but what about anyone else? It would be interesting to know what you all did before retiring.. Me.. I hardly worked... went to med lab tech and got married 5 months before graduation.. STUPID MOVE as that marriage lasted all of 2 yrs.. I left his butte and moved back to Beaufort.. worked at Coburg Dairy in the office for a few years then moved to Fl where I worked at General Tele as long distance operator and that was that .. after marrying Nakai I started having babies and was housewife.. Shirley H. I worked at Woolworth Five & Dime for a couple of years, then at the American Herford Association, registering Polled Herford cattle ( boy some of those applications were the nastiest things you ever saw, cow dung on them). We wore rubber gloves to open the mail & to handle them. Then I got married & like you started having babies. 3 was plenty for me. When the kids were teens I went to work for The Kansas City Election Board. Was there for 5 years. Then started being Grandma & really have enjoyed that, then comes GREAT Granddaughters & Oh how much fun that is. Have been happily married to Don for 49 years come Nov. 18th (most of the time), just joking but it has been more good than bad.
