Jenny, the biggest dog I think I ever saw was Dad's great dane...........He was much larger than the normal Gt Dane's, and they are plenty big...................He loved my dad, and went everywhere with him. Dad would roll down the window when he got out to go in a store or something, and I will tell you, more than once a car pulled up beside dads truck, and they wouldn't get out, ended up parking someplace else...........................He was loveable, but you never knew what that dog would do. Dad was heartbroken when he ran off. Only he didn't run off, mom called the pound. He didn't like mother, and he would take a flying leap at her and knock her down. She was a little bitty thing, 4'8" 100 lbs............so she took care of it, knowing dad would never get rid of him. The dog got adopted and 3 months later, walked about 40 miles to get back to dad. His feet were bleeding, and dad took him to the vet. Whoever , adopted him, spent a lot of money, they had is ears fixed where they stood straight up, instead of down. Dad had his tail fixed, and was going to do his ears. Anyway, mom didn't have the heart after that to get rid of him again. He eventually toned down to mom, and every morning, that dog would sit at my dads feet, and mother would wash his face with a wash cloth at the table....................that was some beautiful, scarey dog....................dad had him until he was 14. Then dad sued the vet, for malpractice, and won., when he let him die................but dad just wanted his dog back......................He never wanted another dog after that one. Biggest dog I ever had was called Mousie.....He mush have had Great Dane in him and some kind of huge collie....He lookied like a collie but was much bigger than a normal one...Then the best dog I ever had was a Toy Collie and Beagle mix...Old Charlie......He was really smart.....Some idiot shot Charlie when he was about 12...He got down with arthitis and had a hard time getting up and the idiot thought he had been run over with a car....That guy was dangerous to have been let have a gun.....Jenny Anne ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 13, 2009 12:23 AM Subject: Re: [DOWN-HOME-CHATTER] Dot Jo/animals/cleaning and stuff I like little baby cats ..not grown up ones.. A lady near us was living in a house where she had 88 cats in the house with her. Humane sociaity had to use gas mask to enter the house. She had to pay a $8,000 dollar fine for the shape they were in. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> To: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Friday, June 12, 2009 11:59 PM Subject: Re: [DOWN-HOME-CHATTER] Dot Jo/animals/cleaning and stuff > Dot Jo, I am not a cat lover either.
