The only CD I have of Nakai singing is one I did when I had incredimail and it had a little recorder on it.. could only play under 2 minutes so we had to pick short songs LOL I will copy it onto my computer and see if I can get it out to you soon. Son, David> wants to go to a professional recording studio and tape him and his Dad but that is at the tune of $150 which no one has extra! LOL I used to go to the nightclubs where Nakai played music and record the band playing and singing but my DEAR David went and played over those with his reggae music and I could have rung his neck.. I mean every tape I had from when he played with Nelson Waikiki, him and his bro Charles and another Hawaiian guy..Now Dave feels bad about it but too late already LOL Tomorrow is my clean the apartment good day.. Hard to clean when you have a 6'2" kid on the couch or whatever here.. he is spending the weekend with his sister Maile so I can go to town on this place.. I got up this morning kind of late for me .. Nakai was still sleeping and Dave had gotten up at 4:30 to go to work source to see if there were any temp jobs for him.. He came back at 9:30 and no job for him but he goes back tomorrow so hope he lands something. I happened to check out the goodies and saw that straw berry shortcake had two pieces left so got out my cookie ingredients and made a batch of chocolate chips cookies and I saw a BIG mouse in there after I had finished and was sitting here at the computer ..I happened to glance into the kitchen and there was Big mouse Nakai making him a plate of cookies and pouring him some milk.. LOL I also copied a CD of Davids Hawaiian music that we didn;t have.. especially my favorite "baby blue" actually its a country song but Hawaiians like country music too and record them.. I personally think Dave sings this song better than the artist who recorded it.. I am going to email it to ya'll that I have private email address. Nothing doing my way.. we are broke ass now and gotta wait till my pitiful SS check comes in next week. But we have plenty food and gas so all's well here. SHIRLEY H, I know how you and David feel about the "lost types" I had a type some one made us when larry sang and played with a gospel group. Some one "stole" it and now he can't play anymore and several of the people in the group have passed on. Makes me so mad when we could have copied a type for anyone that wanted it they didn't have to steal it.
