Ladies, I have been trying my luck at making fried apple pies. ( I need a good old timey filling) My family has a fit over them. I made about 35 last week send 2some to work with him,after family got their share. He set them on the break table at work and sold them for $1.50 with in half an hour. Brought me $30.00 bucks back. Said they were begging for more. Shirley there is a way to make you some money as well as you love to cook. Have daughter just take them to work (If she can, some places won't let you) You can't price them or the health department will be down on you but she can suggest a price. Shirley you already have you a business going, this type thing goes good, my niece makes these wonderful pumpkin rools, she sells like crazy at school, where she works, already has orders for 50 or so, come fall. she will make all kinds of things to make money, she made those nice fleece blankets, where you cut the ends, and tie them together, sold dozens at $30.00 to $40.00 each. captalize on any talents you have, I would just love to have one of those fried pies, my mother in law used to make them, sure do miss her and her old fashioned good cooking.
