Shirley H. Sounds like you have had a delightful day. I have cleaned house from top to bottom, got on the computer, waiting for shade outside, so I can work out there. It is 97 with high humidity, and chance of storms tonight and tomorrow. Well , don't feel bad about being "broke ass broke." We had a really sick cat, had to take her to the vets, and she has Bobcat fever. She will be there for 10 days. So far the bill is over 300.00. Not going into savings, and not putting on credit cards.......We , like you have plenty of food, bills paid, gas in the car, and God is taking good care of us, with blessings everyday...................Praise the Lord ! I got up this morning kind of late for me .. Nakai was still sleeping and Dave had gotten up at 4:30 to go to work source to see if there were any temp jobs for him.. He came back at 9:30 and no job for him but he goes back tomorrow so hope he lands something. I happened to check out the goodies and saw that straw berry shortcake had two pieces left so got out my cookie ingredients and made a batch of chocolate chips cookies and I saw a BIG mouse in there after I had finished and was sitting here at the computer ..I happened to glance into the kitchen and there was Big mouse Nakai making him a plate of cookies and pouring him some milk.. LOL I also copied a CD of Davids Hawaiian music that we didn;t have.. especially my favorite "baby blue" actually its a country song but Hawaiians like country music too and record them.. I personally think Dave sings this song better than the artist who recorded it.. I am going to email it to ya'll that I have private email address. Nothing doing my way.. we are broke ass now and gotta wait till my pitiful SS check comes in next week. But we have plenty food and gas so all's well here. Sam, I cleaned house from top to botten today also and washed clothes and hung them out trying to beat the rains. Make it!!!! It has been cloudy here all day but no rain guess we got it all last night 2 inches in 15 minutes. But rain for the next 5 days.Can't believe it but garden is looking real good. We lost our dog yesterday. She was 13 years old had been hit by cars 3 times once we thought she was dead but was able to pull her thought this was last Summer. We didn't take her to vet because she was so bad off and so old we felt it was best to just let her go. She has had a good long life for the shape she was in now. Do you need a kitten? Have three and Larry didn't want any. He does not like cats. Granddaughter brought him one she found in the church parking lot (Dufus). another granddaughter got one for her birthday and its took up here(Socks) and someone dropped one here ( Ebony solid black) So we are cat poor in addition to money poor.Plus I'm dog sitting for our son, plus SIL dog makes hisself at home here and we have a dog!!!!!Thank goodness they all like tablescraps. Hard enough buying food for the humans here.
