*** WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MEMPHIS UNTIL 4 PM ***   This is for the Memphis area. It's nice and warm here in Ga. We're running the AC. Expect a nasty couple of days with rain chances, even light freezing rain to the North, and very chilly temperatures. A few patches of freezing rain are briefly possible in the Metro area of Memphis. Highs today in the city will likely not hit 40. The wind chill will probably hover near 32 degrees. Tonight features lows in the middle 30s in the heart of our city with more steady rains. Frozen precipitation will still be possible across our Northern reaches so exercise extreme caution if you will be on the roadways in those areas, basically anywhere North of Memphis. Showers continue for our Tuesday with highs pushing to around 42 degrees, so frozen precipitation should not be a worry. Rain may finally begin to subside tomorrow night. Dry conditions will then return on Wednesday with chilly yet seasonal highs in the 40s. Look for mainly sunny skies Thursday as highs return back into the 50s. A slight chance for rain will exist Friday ahead of an Arctic cold front but any amounts should be on the light side. Next weekend will likely be dry but cold. We will certainly keep you posted.
