Now remember I said new born, piglets, chickens, they were in a big wooden wood box. Dot Jo, last year in Tulsa, during an ice storm, my sisters mare had a colt that wasn't doing too well.   She brought it into the kitchen and put blankets on it, and bottle fed it through the night.......................it survived very well.   The mare was upset and wanted in the house too to take care of her little baby...............................they both did well.    sam.
