Have you tried bleach or peroxide? May help. Jenny, Where are the stains coming from? never knew a dishwasher to leave stains. water spots yes but stains? I always add about 1/2 bleach to my dishwasher about once a week just to clean it. That might help if it's iron deposit. We have well water and a water softner and I don't have that problem.
