    3. Shirley, from my searching, there seems to be lots of people that had this problem with Vista. Most had done the upgrade to vista when Microsoft was offering a free 30 day trial without using a product key code. They typed in the key code found on their PC, but it wouldn't accept it. If you find yours & it doesn't work, then you will need to find out from your Bishop if this computer was bought with the Vista or was added as an upgrade. If it was an upgrade, you could always do a complete restore, but you will lose anything that was not on the PC when bought. If you have to do this, then luckily with Dell, it's not that hard to do. My Dell didn't come with a restore disk, but I went online to find out how to do this myself & it wasn't hard at all. I have to get back to bed & see if I can sleep this time, for I have to take Mom to her doctor tomorrow. Will look tomorrow night to see if you found the number. Bobbie

    2. Bobbie, thanks for all that information.? I just looked at the tower and saw it was Windows XP so I guess he had it upgraded..I guess even if I did find that code number from what you said it wouldn't work. I am so dumb about computer workings so I hope my Bishop can solve this real easy by giving me the right product code..or else I am agoing to be shut down at some point if I don't pay to get it activated.Guess I will find out Sunday when I go to church.. Thanks again.. I went to bed too but couldn't sleep and here I sit while you are snoring away! Ha!
