:) right there with you... we've had some flurries on and off all day long... F-I-L got the plow truck stuck in the ditch. Had one of the rear tires about 10 iches off the ground. Seems to be okay though managed to still plow after 'we' got him pulled out. Brother is fixing his 4x4 today... has an internal issue but he has to drive back to OH for college tomorrow... on the way home thur he ended up in a ditch w/ a $90. tow/pull bill. :( Even though it's warmed up quite a bit it's still way cold and feels colder then it did when we had our sub degree weather. I imagine that's all due to the moisture. DH just started a fire and man has it helped. Even in just the few minutes it's been going. Think we are going to hunker down at home... I'm going to make hamburger gravy (poor man's meal) for dinner and a friend is excaping her abusive husband to come play cards or dice. :) Laura> From: dotjo1@suddenlink.net> To: down-home-chatter@rootsweb.com> Date: Sun, 18 Jan 2009 16:32:51 -0500> Subject: [DOWN-HOME-CHATTER] (no subject)> > well folks, Looks like we are gonna get another dose of that artic weather!! we are looking at freezing rain and up to 5 inches of snow beginning tonight at 6 and lasting until 6 tomorrow morning. > My toes are still froze from the last blast. Laura, Sounds like you have had an exciting day. Except for that tow bill. I have a fire going too can't seem to get warm enough. It has spit snow/sleet about all day here even though we are in the 30's. All churches around us was closed this morning due to icy patches on the road.
