I have the bill of sales from my parents house & they bought it back in 1939, 3 acres & a 2 bedroom house for $2,000 dollars & their payments were $ 17.00 a month. You can't buy a 50X50 lot for that now days. Around here land is going for $7,000 an acre. To much for me.
