Maybe one is similar to the way you fixed them. Bobbie Baked Sauerkraut & Chops 1 large can sauerkraut 2 apples, peeled, sliced 1/2 cup brown sugar 4 to 6 pork chops salt Mix sauerkraut, apples, and brown sugar well; place in large baking dish. Cover with pork chops. Salt to taste. Cover. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°. Remove cover the last 15 minutes to brown. Serves 4 to 6. PORK CHOPS WITH SAUERKRAUT 6 loin pork chops Salt and pepper 2 lbs. sauerkraut 1/4 c. packed brown sugar 2 tsp. caraway seed 2 lg. tart apples, cored, peeled and cut in wedges 1 c. chopped onion Chopped parsley Brown chops on both sides. Season with salt and pepper and add a small amount of hot water in skillet. Combine next five ingredients and mix well. Spoon half the mixture into a large shallow baking dish. Arrange pork chops on top and spread with remaining sauerkraut mixture. Pour drippings on top and cover tightly with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle with parsley.
