Joyce, our weather has really been nasty down here in Oklahoma. The storm has passed leaving about 4 inces of snow and ice. Everything was shut down yesterday, not many worked, and they aren't going out today. About 32 for high today, sun is up, and it is beautiful outside, but the ice is terrible.........No one has ventured out down our road today either. Going to take a few days for this to melt................we have a lot of hills out here, and the road crews are only doing the snow routes. Rest of the roads are just ice/snow..................................no power outage with this storm thank the Lord, last year, we had no power for 5 days, had to stay with our daughter in town..............I am so glad that didn't happen this time. Power is out all over the city, and I know how hard that is.....................................I hate ice.............................don't mind snow, at least you can drive in that.........................have a safe and warm day. Samantha We lost power for over an hour yesterday morning, and again this morning for almost an hour. I think yesterday's outage may have been ice, but not this morning. We've had rain, rain, and more rain here in Southern KY. Then, about 10:30 this morning, it started snowing and we have around 1". Looks like it's over now. I'll take anything rather than ice. I don't know just what we did before electricity and a computer. I find myself just wandering around the house during a power outage. I did do a little crocheting on a crib blanket I'm making. We have another great-grandbaby due in late summer.
