There is only one name brand of under garmet I purchase for the top part and that playtex, only one I can get that fits right. As for the bottom half, as long as it's cotton I don't care what brand. Food, I don't necessarily purchase name brands, because you do pay for the name, when a lesser brand is just as good. The name brand packers many times pack the lesser brand labels as well. They just do not use the grade a product the name brand like Delmonte or Green Giant gets. Clothing, levi, wrangler, cotton t shirts is my normal mode of dress. I always shop the discount rack at Walmart for T shirts, some I get for $3.99 on clearence. Found two hoodies last year for three dollars each. Now cookware and cutlery I do insist on name brand cephlaon pans, and I have Wolfgang Puck cutlery. They do take some special care in washing etc. But with care they last forever. I have several pieces of cast iron skillets and they are all Lodge Cast Iron pans except for one real oldie and its a Griswold. Nancy
Shirley I never was one for name brand products of any kind so I can't really tell any difference in the taste. Can You? Georgia's flooding is hitting our area now. haven't any flooding yet but they say by this evening. We have a Wal Mart near us. One of the grocery stores closed. There is another one that is staying open and doing a good business. We frequently shop there. When we shop we do it for the long term, so we don't have to run to the store every week, except for necessities like milk or toilet paper. On occasion we do grab something out, but mostly we eat at home. People are loosing their jobs everywhere, due to the ecomony, downsizing, etc. One plant locally rehired their laid off workers, so that is a plus. Nancy
