    1. [DOWN-HOME-CHATTER] Blood transfusion
    2. Joyce L
    3. I would like to encourage each of you to donate blood on a regular basis at your nearest blood drive or blood bank. You never know when a good friend like Marilyn may need some. I just recently donated the first pint of my 6th gallon. If you think you don't qualify, just give it a try. You may be surprised. It's such a little thing but may mean everything to somebody else. Joyce

    2. Marilyn... Glad they had blood there for you today, but I have a question. Is your Dr a specialist, or your family Dr?.....Lois . God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you NEED. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.

    3. Marilyn , there are bunches' of reasons to take blood that are really not life threating ....You probally have one of them...My dad had an ulcer, my father-in-law had an ulcer but he also had some kind of blood making problem. I had lukepinia...Never made enough blood because of allergy meds.......Then I had to take blood in my hip surgery....some folks take blood because they are bleeders.....Wait till you talk to your Dr before you get too upset.....Getting upset hurts you....I know if you get blood from someone who is tired when they gave it , you will be tired......I'll be praying for you........Jenny "If God is for you", Who can be against you"? ----- Original Message ----- From: Jinnye Koons<mailto:jinnyemk@yahoo.com> To: down-home-chatter@rootsweb.com<mailto:down-home-chatter@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 02, 2009 10:55 PM Subject: Re: [DOWN-HOME-CHATTER] TRANSFUSIONS Marilyn, I agree. 3. you go girl!!!!!!!!!! There are a lot of reasons you are needing blood transfusions, never heard of reversed cell leukemia but I wouldn't worry about that one yet. my uncle had to have transfusion about once a month. His daughter requested they find the problem!!! His was a bleeding ulcer so there lots of reasons for needing a transfusion. Once the problem is found it can then be treated and no more transfusions. I talked to a lady there at the infusion center today who was also getting blood transfusions & she said that is what she has & has to be transfused every 2 weeks, Scares the heck out of me. I'll just continue to pray that it isn't anything that serious & let God take care of it but I will let my dr. know that I don't think he is doing good at his job. 3. After serious & cautious consideration . . . Your contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2009! It was a very hard decision to make. So try not to screw it up!!! My Wish for You in 2009: May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like steak and lobster.  May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words . . . May 2009 be the best year of your life!!!f
