I would like to encourage each of you to donate blood on a regular basis at your nearest blood drive or blood bank. You never know when a good friend like Marilyn may need some. I just recently donated the first pint of my 6th gallon. If you think you don't qualify, just give it a try. You may be surprised. It's such a little thing but may mean everything to somebody else. Marilyn , there are bunches' of reasons to take blood that are really not life threating ....You probally have one of them...My dad had an ulcer, my father-in-law had an ulcer but he also had some kind of blood making problem. Dot Jo, this has been going on for 11 months now. They checked for ulcer & blood loss through the colon but found nothing. I'll just have to turn it over to God & pray He can heal whatever this is. Dear Friends, I just arrived home from having 3 units of blood. Have been gone from home for 11&1/2 hours & am really tired. My Red Cell Count was only at 8.8 after 3 units of blood, my base line is 11. Will call dr. Mon. to see what the next step is.
