From: "Joyce" <rjlyons@windstream.net> I got a message on Down-Home -Chatter from nanux4. There is a link to a web site, but I didn't go to it. Anybody know who this is? Or do we have a hacker. I got one from Down-Home-Chatter group, but I also got one privately. The private one had Jinnye's name & address in the body. I looked up yuku on google & it's a type of message board where people posts. Bobbie
The Amish around us have that mode of transportation. They seem to do very good getting around even in this freezing weather. The family that lives just up the road from us take their kids to the Amish school which is 20 miles from us & they do it every day. I think the reason most everything went up last year had to do with the gas prices. Dot Jo, there is nothing on the IRS site about a stimulus payment for this year. I keep hearing other people say they have heard there might be another stimulus payment for this year, but so far I haven't seen any proof of that. For those that didn't get the full amount allowed last year can do a worksheet this year on their income tax & might recover what they didn't get last year. It's called a Recovery Rebate Credit. I seen this one someplace else, and the cause of the high water bills, was the cat learned how to flush the toilet, and that is what it would do all day long. it was so cute on the video, but I'm sure that was stopped. Another chuckle about the older than dirt days we had a lot of tornados & cyclones in Ok. We had a cellar that was dug down in the ground, dirt walls & floor, we had a lantern for light, my dad was scared to death of those storms, was always on the lookout for clouds, and it seemed sometimes like we spent half of our lives running back and forth between the house, and the storm cellar.. Shirley H. You are so right about the treatment of the American Indians, lots of them had land and beautiful home, brick, in the south, the people came over from the European countries our government said they could have land & etc. so they pushed the INdians out to walk that trail of tears, very few clothing, and some no shoes, many many died on the trip, so when people start talking about people who have been abused and misused, they might take a look at what happened in our country. I'm like you it gets me upset, so many things have not been done right in our country for so long. God is in control tho, he knows all.
