Dot Jo, I am so sorry about your dog.   I know you were all very attached after 13 years.   They are just like family when something happens to them.................   I am a wreck.   Just had a tornado touch down 3 miles from us, just got out of the shelter.   It is after midnight here, and chance of reocurring storms tonight.................hail over 2 inches in diameter, and pounding , flooding rains.   I am so glad all the family in town is safe............There was a barn flying over my daughters house, and that really shook her up.  They have a safe room in their house...............other daughter got the lightest of this storm..................all in all, everything is ok.   More on the agenda for tomorrow.   These things scare me to death, don't think nerves are willing to take much more of this............lol..............mother nature is sure hammering all of us this year.   Wish she would slow down some.................I heard about your storms yesterday Dot Jo, they didn't sound any too calm either............................Sam. ,  I cleaned house from top to botten today also and washed clothes and hung them out trying to beat the rains.  Make it!!!! It has been cloudy here all day but no rain guess we got it all last night 2 inches in 15 minutes. But rain for the next 5 days.Can't believe it but garden is looking real good. We lost our dog yesterday.  She was 13 years old had been hit by cars 3 times once we thought she was dead but was able to pull her thought this was last Summer.  We didn't take her to vet because she was so bad off and so old we felt it was best to just let her go.  She has had a good long life for the shape she was in now. Ladies, I have had cats since I was 3 years old.  I love them, and perfer them as pets.  Our 2 cats, are both 13 years old, and we are so attached to them.  Ching, our siamease, is so depressed, since Trouble is in the vet hospital.................we went down this morning to see if we could get trouble to eat some food from home, and she took one bite for Jim.   That cat worships the ground he walks on.............He was very upset when we left, as she just loved him, and cried...................it was sad, but she has to stay and have a full 10 days of medication along with Iv's , pain meds, and what ever else she may need..........She seemed somewhat livlier to me today.    Sam. I like little baby cats ..not grown up ones.. Man that house must have  smelled to high heaven!!  I like little dogs and I mean little dogs.. If we  move (wishy washy Nakai can't make up his mind) I am going to the humane society  and see if there are any toy dogs ..like a yorkie.and bring him/her home with  me.. those dogs are fixed so no babies from them.. We have cable.. and to tell you the truth if it wasn't for Nakai wanting to watch certain programs I would just do without cable.But it is his only entertainment..I pay $114.oo for cable, internet and phone. Milly, I just have free email with AOL now and have had problems signing on everyday! It goes to the tiny little men and not to the tiny aol logo.. Shirley B, Daughter and I had run to the dollar store and it hit while we were out. We got 2 inches in 15 minutes. the mountains is so full it is pouring out. We have been able to mow parts of our lawn all Summer and looks like it won't get mowed!!! Water is pouring down off the hill above us into a drain nephew dug for run off water we could go water sliding. Daughter lives above us and it washed their road down into the main road. Neighbor had a pond in his lower yard ruined his garden. He was out when we got home stacking bricks around his garden!!! I think we are out of the severe now unless it backs up and hits us again!!!!!!!!!
