I am looking for anyone with information on the James Dowell family of Jacksboro, Campbell Co, Tennessee. James was born about 1773 in either Maryland or North Carolina. His wife (Maybe 2nd wife) I think is Nancy (although it could be his oldest daughter) was born in 1806 in North Carolina Possible Children:(all dates are estimates off of censuses.) Hannah b. 1821 N.C. Peter b. 1823 N.C Richard b. 1825 in N.C>md. Sally Lovett in 1849 George b. 1830 in Tenn Angeline b. 1833 in Tenn md Hiram Teaster in 1857 Henderson b. 1837 in Tenn md Hester Lovett in 1845 William b. 1840 in Tenn. I believe that they moved form N.C. to Tenn about 1830. I believe that James died between 1850-1855. Thanks so much, Ruth Solomon
