Dowell, 12th Engineers (Railway) company A, American Expeditionary Force, Somewhere in France." The card is dated August 16th and says: "Hello Johnnie: well, we are in this far, enjoying life as first class travelers. Visited London yesterday, was through all buildings of interest and ate dinner on Kings' Campas, directly in front of his palace. Beautiful country and their railroads excel ours in operation and road bed, but rolling stock is small cars capacity, varying from three to ten tons. Health regards to all. Take care of the 811 (that is the switch engine which was wrecked a short time since). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
