Hi I am looking for a link to my grandfathers heritage- his name was Albert Ova Dowell-his mother was a Sally Norton and his father was also Dowell- his family is really closed about his familys heritage-my father was John Wesley Dowell and his twin brother is James Ovie Dowell- San diego is their home but, their parents were from Kentucky. There was alot of talk about them being part Cherokee-My dad and his brother are very dark-black hair-dark hazel eyes-look very indian-high cheek bone etc- is there a possible connection???
